New Year’s Celebration
On December 31, 2019, the international addiction rehabilitation center IsraRehab hosted a joyful New Year’s celebration within its walls.
The center’s staff warmly congratulated the patients on the holiday, wishing that all past hardships be left behind with the outgoing year, and that the coming one bring new victories and achievements. Festive meals, heartfelt messages from loved ones, and fun contests filled the evening with positive emotions, reflected in the patients’ smiles and their sincere wishes to one another for the year ahead.

Beyond the festive joy, this event gave patients a valuable experience: celebrating without alcohol or drugs. Through this New Year’s celebration, participants saw firsthand that a holiday atmosphere doesn’t require psychoactive substances — that it’s entirely possible to feel happiness, connection, and celebration in sobriety.
This realization lays an important foundation for a sober and fulfilling life — showing that true joy comes from meaningful moments, not from intoxication.
